Winner winner chicken for dinner

In the last of our kid chef mini-series, I asked the boys what was their favourite food. By unanimous decision it was….chicken nuggets. Every parent know these little bites are winners with even the fussiest of eaters.  Stashed in the freezer they make a super quick meal too. Unfortunately some ready made nuggets contain added salt, sugar, flavours and preservatives. Not exactly healthy fuel for the kiddies. Veggie Burgers – Kid approved

The vegetarian trend has gathered pace among celebrities and the general public is following suit. The health benefits of going veggie are well documented but you don’t need to ditch the meat to get the benefits. The summer holidays are in full swing with most primary schools finishing last week, it’s time to look at some activities to keep the kids distracted over the holidays.
