I came up these after looking at a tonne of recipes that called for a food processor or to bake in the oven. These balls take five minutes to make. They are high in protein with whey protein powder and chia seeds. The chia and coconut oil is loaded with omega three fats. So why not give them a go!
Ingredients (makes 6)
2 tbsp chia seeds
4 tbsps oats
4 tbsps whey protein powder (I used Optimum Nutrition chocolate whey protein powder)
1 tsp cacoa
4 tbsp nut butter (Meridian peanut butter)
1 tbsp melted coconut oil
Combine all the dry ingredients and stir well
Add in wet ingredients and mix thoroughly
Shape into balls and refridgerate or freeze for a firmer bite! Enjoy!
